She is a Senior Associate and faculty member of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), an Ambassador for the Energy Transition Commission (ETC) and the Wellbeing Alliance (WeAll), and a Fellow of the World Academy of Science & Art.
Diana Ürge-Vorsatz is a Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy at the Central European University (CEU). She was elected as Vice Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in July 2023. In the Sixth Assessment cycle she served as Vice-Chair of IPCC’s Working Group III. (Mitigation). She was a Coordinating Lead Author in both the Fourth and Fifth Assessment Reports (AR4 and AR5) of the IPCC. She is Vice President of the Hungarian Scientific Panel on Climate Change.

An expert in EU policy and public affairs with over 25 years of experience, Helen has previously worked for the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT - Climate-KIC), the EU Corporate Leaders Group, and the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
Sascha Müller-Kraenner is CEO of Deutsche Umwelthilfe (Environmental Action Germany), a leading environmental, nature conservation, and consumer advocacy organisation. He is also a founding partner and board member of the Ecologic Institute, a non-profit applied environmental policy research institute with offices in several European and North American cities. From 2007-2014, Sascha built and led The Nature Conservancy's regional programme in Europe. From 2003-2006, he served as the Heinrich Böll Foundation's Director for Europe and North America as well as head of the Foundation's program on foreign and security policy. From 1998-2002 he served as Director of the Foundation's office in Washington DC.
Lena Schilling is a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Greens/European Free Alliance and a former climate activist and author.
She was the youngest MEP elected to the European Parliament in 2024. Lena is a full Member of the European Parliament’s Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), and a substitute of the Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN). At the age of 17 she became politically active as part of the “Fridays For Future” climate movement in Austria. In 2022 she published the book “Radikale Wende” to describe the protest and the protest movements and to formulate their historical relevance.
Daniel Zavala-Araiza is a Senior Scientist part of Environmental Defense Fund's Office of Chief Scientist. His current research focuses on providing actionable data that can accelerate the mitigation of methane emissions. Daniel leads research projects around the world, improving the understanding of methane pollution, including with Environmental Defense Fund's MethaneSAT teams and in close partnership with UNEP's International Methane Emissions Observatory.
Agata Meysner is a youth activist and the president and co-founder of Generation Climate Europe (GCE). GCE is the largest coalition of youth-led networks at the European level on climate and environmental issues. GCE brings together 381 national organisations across 46 countries in Europe. Agata has over a decade of experience in youth engagement in decision-making processes, non-profit start-up development and non-formal education. She holds an LLB in European Law from Maastricht University and a MSc in Public Policy from University College London focusing on Environment and Circular Economy.
Nadieh Bremer is a bestselling author and multi-award-winning data visualisation designer and artist, living and working in the Netherlands. She is also the founder and owner of Visual Cinnamon. Jutta Paulus has been a German Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Greens/European Free Alliance since July 2019. She sits on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) as a member and on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) as substitute. She has also been appointed shadow rapporteur on the Commission’s methane strategy. Before entering the European Parliament, Jutta had been elected to the executive board of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen for Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany in 2017. Alongside her political career, Jutta held several management positions in quality assurance notably in Hetzelstift hospital from 2015 to 2019, at Prolytic GmbH in 2015, as well as in her own laboratory for indoor pollutants and ecotoxicology LAUS GmbH from 1999 to 2014.
Chiara Martinelli has been the Director of Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe since October 2021. CAN Europe is Europe’s leading NGO coalition fighting dangerous climate change. With over 200 member organisations active in 40 European countries, representing over 1,700 NGOs and more than 40 million citizens, CAN Europe promotes sustainable climate, energy and development policies across Europe. CAN Europe is the regional node of the global alliance CAN International. Chiara has more than 16 years of experience in the development cooperation sector and prior to joining CAN Europe, she was a Senior Advisor at CIDSE, the International Family of Catholic Social Justice Organisations. Chiara led CIDSE’s work on climate justice, food and agriculture, energy and sustainable lifestyles.
Mihai Stoica is in charge of overseeing 2Celsius' campaigns, liaising with partners and developing its network of supporters and alliances at national scale and EU level. For the past years, Mihai’s work for 2Celsius is lobbying and communicating on transport, bioenergy and climate policy both at national and EU level with specific focus on biofuels, bioenergy, air pollution, electro-mobility and cars and trucks standards. Mihai also works as a freelance photo and video journalist and documentary filmmaker. He has studies in social and cultural anthropology at KU Leuven in Belgium and a graduate degree in communication sciences from the Ecological University in Bucharest, Romania.
Veronika is an energy transition expert, focusing on issues of reducing methane emissions in the energy sector, faster fossil gas phase-out, and decarbonization of district heating. The Centre for Transport and Energy (CDE) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that has been providing an expert view of the energy transition that is respectful of people and the climate for more than twenty years. Veronika has previous working experience in research work in the European Parliament focused on the Green Deal and energy and climate legislation.
Joana Simão Costa is a legal and policy officer in the Unit for Decarbonisation and Sustainability of Energy Sources in the Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy. She joined the DG ENER in 2017, where she has worked on matters of energy efficiency, security of supply and most recently methane emissions. She has dealt with enforcement of EU energy law, advising on EU energy policies and drafting and negotiation of legislative proposals, namely the regulation on reduction of methane emissions in the energy sector. In the DG ENER, she is also in charge of coordinating equality initiatives and mainstreaming equality into energy policy. Joana holds a Master’s in Law and Business from the Bucerius Law School and WHU School of Management in Germany, as well as an LLM in International Law from Queen Mary University of London and is a qualified lawyer.
